Founded in 1923, in Savannah, GA, the nonprofit Poetry Society of Georgia is proud to serve both members, and non-members of the Georgia Coastal Region and beyond.

PSGA connects, promotes and leads the state's writing community from beginners to published professionals. PSGA’s mission is to secure fuller recognition for the art of poetry as one of the important forces in a higher civilization and to kindle a fuller and more intelligent appreciation of poetry, especially the work of living poets and poetry which interprets the spirit of the South.
